Campaign Update
A Courageous Choice for the Future
Immaculate Conception Academy seeks your support for the conversion from a traditional all-girls high school to a member of the national Cristo Rey Network.
Cristo Rey schools combine a full college preparatory curriculum with a part-time corporate work study internship, whereby a student’s salary covers a significant portion of tuition. ICA is the first all-girls high school in the United States to become a member of the Cristo Rey Network.
Inevitably, there will be a planned operating deficit for the first four years. The deficit will decline each year until the growing number of internships and increased endowment will provide financial self-sustainability for ICA. The four-year declining deficit is projected to be a total of $8 million and the need for new endowment $4 million, in all a four-year campaign for $12 million to reach a safe financial harbor and to assure ICA’s future.
