Father John P. Foley, S.J.

Father John P. Foley, S.J., the founder and first president of the Cristo Rey Network addressed ICA's class of 2013 and their families at the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation ceremonies. Father Foley challenged the ICA graduates of 2013 to think about how they will use their gifts after they graduate from college.

SPARTAN STORIES

Tradition

A long standing tradition at ICA is the procession from school to St. James Church for the Baccalaureate Mass. All of the graduates receive a flower from their younger ICA sisters as they make their way toward college life. Every senior looks forward to this milestone each year dating back to the 1960's. This year, the Mass took place on Thursday, June 6.

College Bound

Their t-shirts say it all, "College, here we come." One June 7, 2013, 53 young women graduated from ICA. 100% will be attending a college or university in the fall. 65% are the first in their family to attend college. 81% will attend a private university. 18% will attend a two year college. $8.3 million awarded for graduating seniors for college. Congratulations to the class of 2013!

THE WORKING WORLD

Welcome Father John Foley, S.J.

We are grateful for Father Foley's presence at graduation this year. We celebrate our graduating seniors, a year when our corporate work partners and supports brought ICA Cristo Rey to full employment, and 100% of our graduates going to college. It was an honor to share this special event with Father Foley. As we plan and prepare for the school to begin in August, we are excited to continue our good work.
